ERRORS AND HAZARDS IN EMAIL vol 1

E-mail is a fast way of communication. Unfortunately, errors in the e-mail address will also be spread just as fast. Depends on who's seeing your e-mail address, job, reputation or your career could be affected.

Now almost all people use email. But unfortunately, many users out there who do not use properly, disturbing security, consuming excessive bandwidth, and less ethical action. Avoid mistakes in the email was not difficult. Here are examples-mail habits that interfere with and what can you do to do otherwise.

The subject is not clear whether or not there
Make the recipient to easily find out about what the e-mail address. Like most people in general, you can summarize the e-mail that came by date, sender, and subject. Would not you be happy if you could get only the information required from the subject? The sender has made you have to save your time.

On the other hand, often you receive e-mails without a subject or labeled, for example "phone number that you ask" why the sender did not say directly on the subject, "the phone number is xxx-xx-xxxxxxxx"?

At the time to send emails relating to a particular person give details on the subject, along with his name. For example, if Montana had been promoted, make the subject "Montana has been promoted". Do not use a name as a subject of "Montana" course, the recipient could have thought that Montana had died.

At the time you need to send hard news, is clearly stated. For example, "Montana RIP" or "departure Montana" or "Montana [birth year] - [year died]".

Changing the topic without changing the subject
Suppose you send an email to colleagues about the subject 1. co-workers then need to send an email about 2 to your subject. However, rather than create a new email with the subject "subject 2", he simply replied that the previous email address and discuss the subject 2, with the subject line remains "subject 1" disturbing, is not it?
At the time you send an email, make sure the subject in accordance with the actual subject. If you do so at the time of reply to emails, change the subject in accordance with the actual subject.

Include several subjects in one email
Include several subjects in a single email can reduce the transmission and ultimately reduce the traffic and the volume of e-mail. However, the recipient could have missed one or more of the topic. Better to make one topic per email.

Does not provide context replies
As long as it is not excessive, include the original email text in the replies you send will help the original sender to understand your response. If your reply is "yes" or "That's right", it will be difficult for the sender to understand your answer. Therefore, it is better to give context to include your answer the original question.

Replying and Forwarding

If you write about the A but send it to person B, make sure you also forward it (or send) to the B, do not reply to the A alone
