Google, through Google Aps (http://google.com/a/) provides storage services for free e-mail to more than 5GB per account for a domain that we have. Here are the steps you need to do to be able to share in this service if you are a customer's Web Magnet Hosting. beside GMail, you can also enjoy other applications of Google Apps which you can complete the data review via the link http://www.google .com / a / help / intl / en / business / applications.html.
Assumption * You have your own domain name, and you can make access to your domain control panel.
Sign UP
You must first register a user's Google Apps services, registration can be done through the following link; http://www.google.com/a/help/intl/en/admins/editions.html. Click Sign UP (Standard Edition - FREE) and please enter your domain name in column Enter your domain name (Select Administrator on the radio buttons on it).
Then click Get Started. Fill the next form until there is confirmation that your account is set and can be done the next step (Verify domain ownership).
Verify Domain Ownership
You can perform administrative login page for Google Apps Standard Edition by using http://google.com/a/domainanda.tld/ username and password that you enter on the Sign Up page.
On your start page, if you have not already verified domain should launch a link to verify the domain name, click on the link and select the method you desire.
In this case chosen was by uploading a HTML file, and follow the steps outlined on that page that is;
Create an HTML page with the title googlehostedservice.html
Enter the existing text (random) in the file
Upload a file to the www root directory of your domain hosting
This can also be done through the facilities of your cPanel File Manager. Make sure that your procedure was done correctly by clicking the link http://domainanda.tld/googlehostedservice.html. Then click verify.
Verify your domain name will take up to 48 hours, this can you see in the message given by the Google Aps.
If the message for verification is not occurring, then your domain has been successfully verified, you can proceed to the next step.
Activation E-mail to Save Space + 5 GB
On the Google Apps dashboard page, click Activate E-mail (see picture), you will be escorted to the Setup page E-mail Delivery. Magnets for Web Hosting customers who do not use Managed DNS control and domain nameserver to point Nameserver owned by Magnet Web Hosting (NS1-NS3.MAGNET-ID.COM), please follow these steps;
Login to your Control Panel, http://domainanda.tld/cpanel
Enter your username and password
Select MX Entry in the Mail on the front page cPanel (see picture).
Enter the MX priority and GMail's servers with the following information (MX 1 to 1 priority); ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM. Priority 10, ALT1.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM. Priority 20, ALT2.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM. Priority 20, ASPMX2.GOOGLEMAIL.COM. Priority 30, ASPMX3.GOOGLEMAIL.COM. Priority 30, ASPMX4.GOOGLEMAIL.COM. Priority 30, ASPMX5.GOOGLEMAIL.COM. Priority 30
Remove 0-priority MX from MX Entry in cPanel, thus if the control is terprogasi, E-mail to your domain will be delivered to Google's Mail Server. (see picture)
IMPORTANT
Do not forget to include the dot (.) Behind the MX server information.
If you have entered GMail Server MX, MX Entries will look like this (only 1 MX for Priority 1) (see picture);
After the changes in cPanel you did please click the I Have Completed Steps in these Google Apps interface. Google will check on your domain MX setting, the process you will be able to see in the Google Apps dashboard.
Access Web Mail from Google Apps
By default Web Mail Access pages you can do through http://mail.google.com/a/domainanda.tld URL, this URL you can change (via e-mail, E-mail Settings, General, Web Address) to include CNAME entry in your DNS webmail.domainanda.tld example. Make a selection and click continue. Enter the subdomain you want (in this case webmail) and click on I have completed these steps.
To enter the CNAME entry, please submit support ticket via http://manage.magnet-id.com CNAME and enter the name you want. Web Hosting magnet will make the CNAME for the subdomain (in this case webmail) and directed to ghs.google.com.
In addition to webmail you can make changes to the URL for the other Google Apps.
E-mail will soon be used when;
DNS MX and CNAME you created is terpropagasi.
Google Apps has been completed to update the server.
