For Client under Windows (like a printer driver Windows OS so users can send faxes later as well as printing process) I use Winprint HylaFax (http://winprinthylafax.sourceforge.net/)
Fax files into a image file (tif format), the location could be in the SHARE folder, so files can be accessed / retrieved from another computer (can also be converted to PDF)
